Nick's New US Record Distributor.

Solid Air Records from California has signed Nick And that’s a huge achievement. They are the home of many of the world’s finest guitarists and recently won a Grammy.

They will be releasing “The Nick Charles Collection” (a mix of “My Place” and “Grace Notes” plus two new tracks) and “Travelling Fingerpicker” in its entirety.

"Australian Nick Charles is fond of that area where the roots of blues, jazz, folk and country collide, listing a diverse range of influences such as Robert Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy, Doc Watson, Merle Travis, Kenny Burrell and Django Reinhardt. The virtuosity and eclectic nature of Nick’s music has developed and flourished for more than 25 years of performing, writing, recording and touring in many various musical settings.

A regular traveller to all corners of Australia, the USA and the UK, Nick has collected numerous awards and accolades along the way including the Australian Song Competition 1st Prize and Blues Song and Blues Albums of the year. Melbourne’s The Age newspaper has stated, Nick Charles is “Australia’s virtuoso of acoustic roots guitar.”

We are thrilled to help introduce Nick Charles to fans of great acoustic guitar playing with this Collection as well as his Travelling Fingerpicker CD…enjoy! "
